"Patricia"
For this Kentucky family, the cardinal would have to feature prominently, and I developed a traditional holly and ivy theme around it. The cardinal and leaves were each hand painted with fabric paint. If I may be so bold, I will direct your attention to the glint in the bird's eye, made with a straight pin dipped in white paint. It may not seem like much, but it was probably my proudest artistic moment thus far. :)

Mini I-IV - Cousins-in-Law
This request was for miniature stockings. Due to space limitations, I used traditional Christmas iconography rather than personalized images. Each one is approximately 6-7" long.

Highlander x2 - "Anthony" and "Kristen"
This request was for the "Highlander" design, but full-sized and with name tags. The linings were also changed to Christmas cotton quilting fabric, one with poinsettias and the other with snowflakes.

Highlander ~ $40
Highlander is made of a light cotton plaid with a few red and green sparkle threads running through it. It is approximately 14" long with a red satin lining. Decorated with small silver-tone jingle bells, glass seed beads and a plastic dog button. It was an experiment with a more whimsical buckle design.
A matching name tag can be made if desired.

David, Jr.
This is the half sized stocking I made for our son, Little David, who died at two days old. It is approximately 14" long, made of blue velvet with silver accent trim and white satin lining.
Each piece was made with the usual suspects: craft felt, ribbon, and glass seed beads.
The harp was for his biblical namesake, the scallop shell for being born and baptized in Monterey, California, and the little soldier was just cute.
