"Avonlea"

A companion piece for "Anthony" and "Kristen."

"Matthew"

(Part of the family group, "Patricia," "Rob," "Elizabeth," and "Matthew.")

Hard-pressed to come up with a masculine design that also complimented the color scheme of "Patricia," I finally arrived at the Charlie Brown tree.

"Elizabeth"

(Part of the family group, "Patricia," "Rob," "Elizabeth," and "Matthew.")

Elizabeth is a musician and also named after a famous Jane Austen character, so we combined those themes into a sort of symphonic ball with red pinched taffeta and gold satin.

"Rob"

(Part of the family group, "Patricia," "Rob," "Elizabeth," and "Matthew.")

You knew it was coming.  Somehow it isn't quite Christmas without a polar bear Coke commercial, and below we have a snowman attempting every man's favorite holiday chore.  All hand-painted.

"Arline"

A companion piece for "Stephen," Arline reportedly loves cats.

"Stephen"

This piece was supposed to reflect a love of stamp collecting and a bit of the German family heritage.  The stamps are a cotton quilting print on felt.

Dreamin' By the Fire - "Anita"

I made this one for my aunt in Colorado.  A "cozy fireplace scene" was suggested with special mention of Bert, the black labrador.

The body was made of a red brocade, the crest of cream-colored embroidered ribbon and green corduroy with Vintaj brass accents.  The majority of the scene is made of felt.  The forest print of the two deer was cut from cotton quilting fabric, and the tree is decorated with jewelry elements and glass and jasper beads.  The bears are buttons.  The lining is a red poinsettia print cotton quilting fabric.

Mini I-IV - Cousins-in-Law

This request was for miniature stockings.  Due to space limitations, I used traditional Christmas iconography rather than personalized images.  Each one is approximately 6-7" long.

Highlander x2 - "Anthony" and "Kristen"

This request was for the "Highlander" design, but full-sized and with name tags.  The linings were also changed to Christmas cotton quilting fabric, one with poinsettias and the other with snowflakes.
